We were delighted to welcome school leaders from across Leicester to Moat Community College, this month, for the Leicester Education Improvement Partnership (LEIP) Heads and Principals AGM.
🤝 So what is LEIP?
The Leicester Education Improvement Partnership (LEIP) brings together secondary schools and specialist schools from across Leicester to work together and share best practice.
By collaborating, school leaders can support and challenge one another to improve education, helping to ensure that every young person receives the best possible learning experience and achieves their full potential.
LEIP is built on shared values, a commitment to excellence and a belief that working together makes schools stronger for everyone.
The event provided an opportunity for colleagues to tour our school, visit lessons and see our students and staff in action.
Visitors also heard presentations showcasing three key areas of our work that are making a significant impact on school culture and student outcomes:
📚 Whole School Reading
🤝 SEND Provision
🎯 Careers Provision
The day concluded with a productive discussion about LEIP priorities and the future of education across Leicester.
Thank you to all the Heads and Principals who attended. We were proud to share the work taking place at Moat and contribute to the ongoing collaboration that helps improve outcomes for young people across our city.
