Our Year 9 GCSE Citizenship students recently stepped into world of justice for an unforgettable mock Magistrates’ Court trial.

Supported by Magistrates from Leicester Magistrates’ Court, students explored a real-life case focused on possession of a bladed article in a public place. This powerful experience gave them a deeper understanding of the justice system and the serious consequences of knife crime.

Building on their work this year creating impactful anti-knife crime campaigns, the trip encouraged thoughtful decision-making and a strong sense of community responsibility.

A huge thank you to the Magistrates for giving their time and expertise to support such an important and meaningful learning opportunity.
