The Moat website has had a makeover this weekend; apologies to those of you who may have had trouble connecting from Friday – it takes a while for the security certificate changes to take effect and some people may have seen error messages while this happened.
If you look at the bottom right of the screen you should see the McAfee Secure logo which shows visitors that a site has been authenticated and uses encrypted communication to protect your data online.
This validation is in addition to the switch to our website using an ‘https’ address in line with government guidance on best practice for online safety. The padlock in the address bar indicates the use of secure communication between your browser and our site and prevents malicious parties from intercepting your data.
A new colour scheme has been adopted in line with accessibility guidelines ensuring better contrast and making it easier to read text.
We hope that you like the new site and find it easier to use. If you have any comments or queries please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
