On Monday 22nd January 2018, 30 Year 8 students spent a day at the University working with University staff and undergraduate students to create a Visual CV. The CV concentrates on four main areas; values and beliefs, team working skills, multiple intelligence skills and goal setting, specific to each individual pupil. Through a series of interactive activities based on these key areas, pupils were encouraged to examine their personal skills and natural abilities. They considered their future ambitions as a way of assisting them in making insightful decisions, particularly in their upcoming GCSE subject options. All students had a voucher to buy lunch from the new Food Village on campus and enjoyed a campus tour.

Feedback for the day can be found here.

One student said “I enjoyed the day so much, I would like to go to that University.”
